Rainbow

On Saturday I drove all over creation to find 1930s fabrics. I really only found one store that carried yardage. I went to Mystic Maine Quilts in Gardiner in the morning and ended up there again mid-afternoon.

I washed, starched, and ironed my fabrics Saturday night and finished cutting them this afternoon. Here are some of the cut diamonds on my design wall. It's a rainbow!

Pretty colors...did not realize it was so hard to find 30's..I play for a wedding today...next week away and look forward to the next Sat at Cotton Weeds with you and Donna and learning about miniatures. Will be fun...I did make one already...a new venture...

Very pretty! I can find 1930's fabric, but I have a hard time finding reproduction fabric. Love your new sewing machine. It's dreamy!
