When was the last time you made a dress?

Have you ever wondered how those beautiful reproduction fabrics were used when they were new? I certainly have. Thanks to Pinterest, I've found several examples of fabrics that look familiar to us in the quilt world. These three dresses are girl's dresses from the  mid-1800s. Imagine a whole dress made out of that lovely fat quarter you just purchased. Wouldn't you love to see a little girl wearing that?
